SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Dental bonding is a versatile, minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry procedure used to correct minor imperfections in your teeth. It involves the application of a tooth-colored, putty-like composite resin material that is carefully sculpted, hardened with a special curing light, and polished to seamlessly blend with your natural tooth. Think of it as artistic sculpting for your smile, capable of repairing chips, closing small gaps, masking stains, and even reshaping teeth, all typically in a single visit. At the Beverly Hills, CA practice of Dr. Joseph Stan, DDS, we elevate dental bonding from a simple repair to an art form. While known for complex smile makeovers and implant dentistry, Dr. Stan applies the same artistic expertise and meticulous attention to detail to bonding procedures. Our goal is to provide you with a stunning, natural-looking cosmetic improvement that is both conservative and transformative, preserving your healthy tooth structure while enhancing your confidence.

It’s like an artistic putty for your smile, used to fix chips, cracks, small gaps, discoloration, or misshapen teeth, often in just one visit. The resin is bonded securely to your natural tooth and polished to blend seamlessly, providing an affordable and effective way to enhance your smile without removing healthy enamel. It’s a simple solution for small flaws, offering immediate, natural-looking results.

I went to see Dr. Stan to determine if I was a good candidate for an implant because I have a crown on my front tooth that was coming off and my current dentist told me I needed an implant or a bridge and they couldn’t repair it. Dr Stan was able to re-bond my crown and he explained thoroughly the procedure for the implant for my particular tooth and situation. He didn’t feel that it was necessary at this time and that if this crown comes off again, we can redo the crown instead of doing an implant. He did say that it would most likely last a few more years. I am so happy that I went To see Dr. Stan, I absolutely loved him. He made me feel so at ease and so comfortable to be at the dentist. His work was impeccable and he is so precise. In fact, he made my crown feel better than it ever was. Dr Stan and the staff literally made me feel as if I was a part of their family. Olga and Rachel were gems. Thank you so very much for such a wonderful experience.

Dr. Stan was my dentist almost 30 years ago. He did wonderful and terrific work. After 29-30 years, I had to change up a gold crown he did. (#19) Can't ask for better work than that, almost three decades without issue. Great job Dr. Stan. (I have since moved)

It was over 10 years that I hadn’t comfortably and happily smiled. About two months ago I went to see Dr Joseph Stan for a consult. Going in I was feeling scared and anxious. The consult went a lot smoother than expected. The staff was amazing. They made sure I was comfortable. I honestly felt like I was at home. Usually at the dentist I am hating life but just the opposite here. About two weeks after my consult I went in for my procedure and it went amazing! I am so happy I chose Dr Stan and his team. Not only is he an amazing dentist, his work is like art. I love love my new smile. I would never imagined the entire experience from start to finish would be this easy and would make me so happy. I CAN NOT STOP SMILING!! 😊 Thank you so much Dr Stan and all of the team at the Smile Boutique!

FAQs

With proper care, dental bonding can last between 5 to 10 years. Its longevity depends on your oral habits, the location of the bonding, and how well you maintain it. It may eventually need touch-ups or replacement.

Yes, when performed by a skilled dentist like Dr. Stan. He uses multiple shades of resin and expert sculpting techniques to mimic the natural variations in your tooth enamel, making the repair virtually invisible.

Yes, once any anesthesia wears off. However, to prolong the life of your bonding, it’s wise to avoid habits that can chip it, such as biting your nails, chewing on ice, pens, or hard candy. Using bonded teeth as tools should be avoided.
Care for them as you would your natural teeth! Brush twice daily with a non-abrasive toothpaste, floss daily, and see us for regular cleanings. Avoid excessive coffee, tea, red wine, and tobacco, as the composite material can stain over time.
One advantage of bonding is that it can be easily repaired. If it chips or becomes stained, Dr. Stan can often smooth out the chip or polish away surface stains in a quick visit. For more serious damage, he can add new composite material to the existing bonding.

Patient Story
Partial dentures are removable appliances that replace multiple missing teeth with prosthetic teeth on a gum-colored base. They’re affordable but may feel unstable, causing difficulty chewing or speaking and gum irritation. Unlike implants, partial dentures don’t preserve bone health and can feel less natural in daily use.

Total transformations are possible.
